Does anyone know how I should fix these issues? I would like to install XFCE but it tells me it cannot find such a package. This is running in the Proxmox Beta 9. I added a bookworm repository thinking that might help but it did not. I had no problem installing XFCE on Proxmox 8.4. I am new to Proxmox so perhaps I have just made silly mistake due to inexperience.

PVE 9 is based on Debian 13 (Trixie).

Adding PVE 8/Debian 12 (Bookworm) repos is a bad idea and likely to break your system. Imagine trying to install Windows 10 patches on to a Windows 11 system. I'd strongly suggest getting those out of there.

I don't think it hurt anything, though, as the issue seems to be that your system can't hit any apt repos--neither the debian nor PVE repos appear to be working.

"Failure to resolve" sounds like a DNS error.

Can you ping deb.debian.org, security.debian.org, download.proxmox.com from the machine?
