We have decided to migrate from vSphere to Proxmox finally! My largest concern is with migrating our appliances. Things like Cisco ISE, FMC, Umbrella. My main plan is to shutdown the vm take a veeam backup and do the migration from vSphere to Proxmox. In the process it will be a host replacement so the underlaying hardware will be different. Has anyone had experience moving these types of appliances where you dont actually have access to the underlaying OS? Backup plan is always to rebuild but thats more time consuming.
