Dear Team

We have installed a latest version of ProxMox hypervisor, we have updated it to max possible way. Installed the Nvidia Host drivers for the Linux KVM OS which is compatible to ProxMox. We are able to see the Nvidia GPU via nvidia-smi command. But when we try to do the Resource Mapping it is not showing VGPU slices i.e. 2Q, 4Q, 6Q etc.

The only difference I have noticed is in the Nvidia Training Video is the trainer has applied the ProxMox subscription key, which I don't have.
Being a solution provider how can we do the POC for customer without the trial key ?

Hi,

But when we try to do the Resource Mapping it is not showing VGPU slices i.e. 2Q, 4Q, 6Q etc.
what does that mean exactly? Where would you expect to see the vGPU models?

depending on the model, you have to activate sr-iov for the card and use the virtual functions, see https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/NVIDIA_vGPU_on_Proxmox_VE for a detailed guide

what does
Code:
lspci
show on the host?

since PVE is completely open source, it will be working, but you won't get any enterprise support in this scenario from either Proxmox nor NVIDIA
