I have a fresh install of PVE 5 on a new Supermicro server, copper Intel 10G NICs onboard. I have two test KVM guests installed on a single host. One is CentOS7 minimal install and the second is a Windows 10 Pro machine. Performing an SCP of a 4GB iso file, from the host to CentOS, I see ~130MB/sec. When I do the same thing, using Filezilla on Windows, I only see ~50MB/sec.

Windows is fully updated
I have virtio 141 drives installed for storage and nic
I've tried openvswitch and linux bridge
I've tried multi-queues.

I've seen Windows run fine on a test PC at ~90MB/sec with no tweaks. Is there something obvious I'm missing?

Thanks

With testing network connections, I strongly recommend against using file-based transfer protocols. you end up with a lot of overheard there that is completely unneeded.

Try with Iperf
