How could you switch between host & guest on a display quickly using the keyboard - if you're using GPU passthrough (meaning the guest has a dedicated GPU)?

I'm thinking if they're both (guest and host) wired to the monitor through different GPUs... Then I'll see how quickly I can get the monitor to switch sources via some kind of remote. Might introduce too much latency. The looking glass project only supports windows and pro GPUs it seems...
