OSX accepts only a specific number of cores

In some Proxmox forum I have read that macOS configuration only accepts 4 cores and 8 cores in each cpu slot. So to use 16 threads of my processor (Intel i9 10900K), I have to configure 2 sockets and 8 cores. I did so and my vm works perfect. if you setup the VM with 1 Slot and 16 Cores, macOS...
