UdoB replied to the thread [SOLVED] How to activate GUI->xterm.js in a debian 12 VM?.It looks like your screenshot shows the "hardware"-console. Try to open a new window/tab via ">_ Console" drop-down menu and select "xterm.js". Then you can use ctrl-+/- to scale the text. ;-)

legacy system or not: You should never, ever run scripts as root user directly from the internet if you don't know what they do.

it does. the problems you are referencing had to do with issues specific to kernel version 6.8. simply install using an old (8.1) installer that used kernel version 6.5. or better yet pve9 and not bother with pve8 at all since it will be eol'd...
