Same for me upgrading kernel make it crash randomly but it was stable before (with native option). If this kernel patch was done for this seems to work on my r710 running some container and a vm for truenas.
Don't know the am command but it's possible to move disk from the hardware vm view on the web UI directly. Select disk and a move button appears on the tob.
Not sure it's only AMD related....
I've got the same sort of kernel panic on a Dell R710 with Intel xeon.
My freenasvm can't be start without finally get a host (proxmox V7) hanging then crashing. All was working with PvE 6.
On working kernel i had this in dmesg:

It make a long time i use proxmox at home on my own server.
Since a long time i was unable to boot on new kernel. The only one that i can boot is :
Linux serveur 4.9.0-7-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.110-3+deb9u2 (2018-08-13) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Has i remember it start with the 4.10 branch but...
