May I know more about the "asynchronous IO mode for each disk of a virtual machine" feature?
I can understand the advantages in terms of performance but are there any risks when it is enabled?
Thanks
If I am not wrong, PVE 3.4 is based on the ovz rhel kernel so, when ovz team releases the patched kernel, would be nice and a responsible from the Proxmox team to help us to keep our 3.4 installations secure, even if it is EOL.
Sorry if this has been discussed, but I couldn't find a definitive answer to the following question.
What kind of local storage would be possible to use in the stable release in order to live backup both containers (with quota support) and virtual machines, without the need of...
I've manage to fix it.
If somebody experience the same problem, just add:
fs.ve-mount-nr = "MAX NUMBER OF MOUNT INSIDE THE COINTAINER"
to /etc/sysctl.conf on the host and update the configuration with "sysctl -p"

Re: grub-setup: warn: Attempting to install GRUB to a partitionless disk! Will it boo
You shouldn't install GRUB on a partition, you should install it on the device/disk where the partition /boot resides (eg. /dev/sda)

May I see a screenshot of this message? How often does it appear? Just after the login?
I've no problems with it, it is just to know what to expect after the upgrade.
Thanks
If you're using a bridged network configuration, then in your /etc/apf/conf.apf the interface should be like this:
IFACE_IN="vmbr0"
IFACE_OUT="vmbr0"
and not eth0.
