LSI 9200-e

Does anybody have experience using external SAN connected via an LSI 9200-e on a SAS switch? The volume created on the SAN is visible during installation of VE (VE is instaled to an SSD in a "head node") but after instal we need to add storage using that volume, unfortunatly i have no experience...
