and my understanding is that proxmox tends to use an ubuntu based kernel? Does that mean that the kernel will upgrade when 19.10 comes out? My understanding is that there have been serious improvements to 7002 even in the latest unreleased kernel.

If not how long does it usually take for proxmox to support next generation cpus?
