Rares replied to the thread 8.4 to 9.2 upgrade.

I usually full reinstall node by node. Move the VMs, remove the node from cluster, reinstall, add back the node to cluster, move VMs back. If you enable ZFS replication days in advance the migration is almost instant from one node to another.
