Answer to myself: Setting bwlimit from 50000 to 20000 solved the issue. I guess when the backup is finished, the process itself is not finished writing to the storagebox an still under heavy traffic. Removing the old VM then failes within a set timeframe, resulting in this error. Would be...

Howdy, I have a single server with proxmox installaton VE6.3-6 at Hetzner, connected to a Storagebox via CIFS. The backup is running fine for several hours, but right after reaching 100% the resource is suddenly reported unavailable. So I wonder... is the backup (with bwlimit) created locally...
