if you take and restore the snapshot with RAM via Proxmox VE, then yes, the bitmap will be preserved. Alternatively you can also hibernate the VM and resume after host reboot.
I've searched for a easy way to change the owner of all backup groups in a namespace.
Instead of doing this in the web gui, I've built a little helper script.
