would zfs-sed respond with a mail if a disk fails completly to a point where it needs to be changed?

I have built ny first proxmox using zfs.
A mirror for 2 disk for proxmox os.
And a zfs raid 10 for storage.
I know need alerts setup if a disk fails.
Can proxmox itself monitor for these alerts if i setup mail alert for proxmox?
