My Boss give another HP server for config and this new HP server has four HDD and I install on First HDD Proxmox and I want partitioning other HDDs,
When I type this command
fdisk /dev/cciss/c0d1
and I choose
t
I see this error
No partition is defined yet!
and I can not continue partitioning

I wish Proxmox has option for get backup from important config files and we can restore it next time
this process is so hard and I am afraid I lose my DATA
I installed Proxmox 4 on HP server , and HP server has two HDD , one of them 80GB and another one is 1TB HDD. this HP server work for us over 5 years , without any error , we have another HP too , yesterday first HDD is faild and OS can not boot .

Is this correct I run these commands
qm stop 100
and
qemu-img convert raw /data/images/100/vm-100-disk-1.qcow2 /data/images/100/vm-100-disk-1.raw
and
qemu-img resize -f raw /data/images/100/vm-100-disk-1.raw 60G
and
qemu-img convert -O qcow2...
before start resize VM HDD , I make backup , and after fail , I restore it by Proxmox UI , and my VM work good .
but I do not know what happen for old VM , during restore I choose another destination for restore VM.
I have VM ID 100 and it work.
my Centos VM was on local and I made backup and restored it on another HDD.
my question is this.
is backup script , create backup from 800GB HDD or only 32GB HDD ?
