I have 3 NICs: x.0.x - LAN x.1.x - VLAN 1 x.2.x - VLAN 2 I want to do a fresh install of Proxmox (latest edition) but with the management IP on a VLAN 1. Is it possible? If so, how would I do it?

I solved my own problem by getting an old pc with 2 nics and using that as the pfSense firewall.

UPDATE: I scraped the Proxmox and reinstalled it (test server). Uninstalled virt-viewer 6.0-256 (64-bit), rebooted my Windows 7 machine and reinstalled a fresh download of the same version. Everything seems to be working now but it raises the question: What do I do when the same thing happens...

Yes. Even when I was trying to use Spice for the node shell, it would download files with no extensions.

Have you tried to unplug and plug back in the USB device you are trying to use in order to "wake it up" ?

Could be from the Windows Task Manager - 4 cores at 100% = 400%. I know my Windows Server 2008 r2 was maxing out the CPU on a clean install.

Since I am unable to keep an external USB drive from sleeping, I need to make a directory on the nfs for a Windows VM to access. In the past I've added a hard disk from the web console and mapped that to the nfs but the data didn't survive a removal & creation of a new VM.

I need to have a Windows VM connect to the nfs server. After adding a 2nd nic and giving it a static ip address using the 192.168.2.x subnet, I realized it wouldn't work because the bridge is for the 192.168.1.x subnet. How would I create a new bridge to the existing bond without losing access...
