upgrading from 8.4.16 to 9.1.19 works without the blank confirm screen and without the need for the hackaround.. The find string in #12 isn't in 9.1.19. The workaround replace string is already incorporated into 9.1.19. Everything works on one test system and two production systems in a cluster.

I still see the same problem. I tried Opera 102 and Firefix 115 on Mac OS and couldn't create a VM.
