Hi, I have been using Proxmox for a few years and upgraded my 3 node cluster to 8.3 Now I want to use a SMB mount on my NAS as a backup for my VM's.... I can add the disk to the cluster and it shows across the system But when I go and try add the backup it does not allow me to choose the disk...

ok it was sort of asymetric routing ..... on boot, the system recognized the interface but changed the name to ens18, on inspection of the interfaces it only ever showed lo ..... so a quick ifconfig up brought the interface up, quickly changing netplan to be ens18 and NOT lo fixed it ...... ugh...

Thanks, I have only the one switch, there is another VM on the same node, and while the Ubuntu server can ping it, the other machine, which is reachable though the network can not contact the Ubuntu server at all. I even loaded UFW and set up filters to see if somehow that was an issue, but...
