Hello, thank you for your reply. I found another post on this forum and I wasn't the only one experiencing this problem. The author suggested backing up locally and using a sync job to send it to the cloud. This works perfectly and I am happy not to use external tools. Thanks for your suggestions

Thank you for your reply. It's reassuring to see that I'm not alone with this broken pipe problem. I tried the solution of backing up locally and using a sync job to send it to Hetzner. It works perfectly, thank you very much, I was beginning to despair. Have a nice day.

Hi @Fuggschen, are you still using your hetzner storagebox as a datastore for PBS? If so, did you manage to backup Containers and VMs without issues? In my case, I can backup containers perfectly (multiple Gb) but any VM backup would always fail around 1.4Gb with a "broken pipe" error. I can't...
