I've done such a command in the past outside of proxmox GUI and it killed the VM's and I had to reboot the host to get the internet back on each VM. lol I'll try tonight to be safe ;p

Is that going to knock out active VM's ( I have a feeling it will lol ) I will try tonight and let you know the results.

I have ifupdown2 installed and hit apply changes does that do the same thing?

Step 1 configure mac for the Failover IP (set it to VMware) Step 2 set the MAC address you created above to the VM inside of Promox (inside the nic settings) Step 3 configure that VM's network correctly. Also, show me your network file within the VM if you're still having an issue.

After I add the bridge (vmbr2), and hit accept it works as it should. But if I reboot I can no longer SSH in or get to Proxmox via GUI. Than to get back in I must boot to an emergency CD and disable the vmbr2 bridge. Any help would be much appreciated, below is my /etc/network/interfaces file...
