Thank you for sharing. Having a small dilemma with 7.x version. Because the rest of the service does not yet support version 7.x (foreman fog). Probably, need to throw the developer's shoes back on and contribute necessary changes.
Just a quick additional question, is SDN permission structure "fully" added to 6.x version also. I can only add permission to zone -level which exposes all the vnets to client user/group.
@spirit good work :)
Sorry for lifting the old chain up. I am currently building an environment where there is a need for SDN permission structure. What is the development work status on this?
Hi @Fabian_E ,
I tried to collect data yet again from crashing node. Node keeps crashing after few minutes and can't get any relevant output from log perspective.
Has the problem persisted -6 after the upgrade? We rolled the lab back to version 6.4 and are waiting for the problems to clear up. Unfortunately, that original host was no longer on the lines for analysis. Crashed/freeze straight into the boot.
Unfortunately, I don't get any crash trace over netconsole, we have tried to get relevant information. Anyway, -5 seems to be stable, -6 crashes every 1 to 3 hours without any traffic just idling.
Longest stable period was 6 hours.
It seems that our machines that are in version 5.11.22-6 will crash after 6-12 hours even without running virtual machines. -5 version have worked normally so far.
Yes, the only stable kernel seems to be that 5.11.22-5, e.g. 5.11.22-1 hosts seem to be stuck in the load. To add to the oddity, we have one host that doesn’t seem to work stably even on a -5 kernel but crashes when a load is generated over ZFS or NFS. I can't replicate that problem on other...
We also have the same problem with version 7. Machines running kernel version 5.11.22-6 crash constantly -> 5.11.22-5 seems to be working properly. Crashing also happens with through 5.11.22-<minors>.
