This is what we're using now. The admin WebUI is...odd, but from the end-user perspective, it just works. Fully supports Proxmox.

But.... Citrix. In all seriousness, I'd have a look at Citrix now that Cisco has their grubby hands off of it. Could be contender if they add Proxmox support.

I tried this recently. It has a ton of promise, but felt very hacked together. We had a lot of stability issues during our 60-day trial. I might have another go with it in a year or so, but I didn't want a system I had to babysit all the time.

I'm curious about the cache disk for S3 storage. We're experimenting with S3 storage in PBS utilizing CEPH's RGW. CEPH being local to the PBS sever. Is there a way to calculate how much storage the datastore used for cache needs to be? We don't have any concerns about API calls to the CEPH...

We renewed for another year. v4.0 of UDS came out a month or so ago. We haven't upgraded yet, but it looks like a big upgrade from the version we have been running (v3.6). I still recommend giving it a go. Setup is a mild chore in v3.6, but once it's up and running, it's a breeze.

I'm still on 6.5 for the time being. It's working. I don't have a need to change it. I want to see how Proxmox handles assigning vGPU resources with the changes in 6.8 before trying to go down that road again.

I ended up going this route...for now. Everything is working fine. This cluster is in production, with NVIDIA GRID licensed A10 GPUs. After getting a renewal quote from Broadcom for VMware licensing at 10x last year's amount, it was a no-brainer. We already have Proxmox as our production server...

I completely agree. I'm just looking for a temporary solution until a more permanent, and supported, one is available.

This one really threw me for a loop. I upgraded to Proxmox 8.2.x for the ESXi migration stuff, and lost all my vGPUs. Glad I found this thread! Question tho - is it safe to pin Kernel 6.5.13-5-pve and reinstall the NVIDIA GRID drivers for now?

We ended up going with it for a 1-year term. Depending on how it goes, we'll either extend the term or see what else has developed in the next year or so. The Proxmox integration is really good - it's seamless. They offer a 60-day no-strings trial. It's worth checking out. My only caveat -...

I'm evaluating this now. Pricing is good, features are good. Works perfectly with Proxmox. User-facing UI could use some help, but they allow for a total UI replacement if you're so inclined. Admin UI is clunky, but usable. It's no VMware Horizon View from the glitz and glamour standpoint...
