Hello,
does anyone has more info about running proxmox on the Apple Mac Pro?
I would like to buy a Mac Pro to setup as a server.
Is it possible to run proxmox ve on such hardware?
Ellen
Can you detail the steps?
I suppose:
1. stopping the vm's
2. unmounting /var/lib/vz
3. e2fsck -f /dev/vg1/vz
4. resize2fs -p /dev/vg1/vz smallerziseG
5. - Check "PE Size":
# vgdisplay
6. lvreduce -LsmallerziseG /dev/vg1/v
7. e2fsck -f /dev/vg1/vz
8. mount -a
9. restart all VM
Is that ok?
Ellen

You need to use a different address for your guest OS, you may not use the same address as the bridge does. so f.e. use 188.40.71.165
then it should work.

Udo,
I think we have a misunderstanding.
I don't need openvz, that's why I installed the 2.6.32 kernel.
But when running update/dist-upgrade from the pvetest repo after having installed the 2.6.32 kernel I got the above errors.

Hello,
In our current setup the iscsi (vmbr0) and lan (vmbr1) of our proxmox servers are in the same IP range, but as read on the forums this might not be a good idea.
(ISCSI network needs to be separate, no? Does this mean a separate Ip range or a separate switch?)
If a separate Ip range is...
