The normal way is to install from the ISO which include Debian13. You can install it on top of your own OS installation but that also needs to be Debian13. PMG8 was based on Debian12.

are you installing PMG 9.0.4 on top of Debian 12? AFAIK PMG9 needs Debian 13.

no problems with the PMG upgrade. Network device names changed during upgrade, needed some repair afterwards.

The images are available at https://images.linuxcontainers.org/ (also for Rockylinux 10). But Proxmox doesn't recognise this "centos" release. Can we get a small update for this, without hacking the check ourselves?

same issues here. but when I create a CT from that image and don't change anything in the network settings, I can start the CT. And it has a DHCP connection. Changing anything in the network settings e.g. add a fixed IP or set it to DHCP gives an error. See also...

updated PBS3 this morning to latest patch: Unpacking proxmox-backup-server (3.4.4-1) over (3.4.3-1) ... pbs3to4 now throws an error: FAIL: could not match the 'proxmox-backup' package version, is it installed? pbs3to4 had no errors before this update.

Have you swapped the ports as mentioned in 2.3.2? with MS Exchange you should not use port 26 for outgoing so you have to switch these two values (25 and 26) . In the end you have to use port 25 for outgoing and port 26 for incoming mails.
