Eeilko replied to the thread Proxmox Mail Gateway Installation on Debian 12.The normal way is to install from the ISO which include Debian13. You can install it on top of your own OS installation but that also needs to be Debian13. PMG8 was based on Debian12.

Eeilko replied to the thread Experience with upgrade from 8.2.5 to 9.0.no problems with the PMG upgrade. Network device names changed during upgrade, needed some repair afterwards.
