What I did was to unmount every ZFS dataset except rpool, cleaned the folders to mount to and remounted everything. After that the containers will boot again. Reboot seems to work again. My gues is that the filesystem/mount points didn't "like" the upgrade.

I ran into the same problem just today. VMs do start, containers don't. I've tried everything I can think of or that I read online, but nothing seems to be working. Any solution yet?

reboot still doesn't work, but if I mount the dataset with the subvols by hand...
