I can confirm working solution with pve-kernel-5.0.18-1-pve and all settings back to normal with Windows 2019

I can confirm, switching to Vista/2008 helps with a HP Proliant G5 and with an old PC converted to a home lab server

To solve my own problem. It seems that the problem was related to the HDD controller type, it was set to SCSI (and worked before). It's now set to VM Paravirtual and my VM is running stable again...
