Definately working. Usually its headless on a shelf...connected it up to a screen and went into the bios....i also set the graphics option from auto to, what its seen as "Intel (HD)" so im quite sure the card is ok...
As above - just got mine today. A very tight fit in my compact precision!
When i do an lspci -v i cant see the card...has anyone else done this yet??
Cheers.
Just ordered a B50 - from the look of it the A2000's are worth more....be nice to have a fresh new card.! Many thanks for all of the help and info....ive moved off a couple of VMs that i run 24/7 so i might have a crack at the srv-io config....
Its not a case of fancy....just the fact i can buy new hardware with 4 more gb of memory, plus my intial question is/was "is srv-io going to be the way forward" if i can use the Intel card the "old way" but it will work with the alternative "new...
Right. Ok, thanks for that bit of info, good to know. So, questions....if i were to jump to a B50pro (and yes i only tend to hand out the whole card to one VM) is the process (as it would be an Intel) the same as handing out an onboard Intel card...
Hi there - yes, thats one of the videos i did watch...im still quite a novice user when it comes to GPU stuff. But, if srv-io is the way forward (the new way of doing GPU stuff) then ill probably go for it...
Would that be a fair assessment...
As above - i wondered what the state of getting a B50pro running on ProxMox is? ive owned my A2000 for a few years now and its still worth quite good money...not much less than a B50 but the B50 has 16gb in there and obviously is newer tech.
If...
