Hi guys!
As some of you might know we are organizing the Dutch Proxmox Day again.
Last year we decided to reach beyond our borders and have all presentations in English.
Which was a great success since almost half of the audience consisted of...
PVE uses native Linux means of connecting NFS, i.e. Ubuntu-based Kernel and Debian-based userland. These are used in millions of nodes world-wide.
There are many possibilities here, for example,a bad NIC/Cable that is affected by solar flares, a...
Can you manually mount the NFS share on the problematic nodes when the issue is present?
Are you sure there is duplicate IP on the network at that time? Have you compared all package versions, including Kernel, across the nodes?
Without logs and...
Exciting! We will put this into our CI/CD.
Thank you!
Blockbridge : Ultra low latency all-NVME shared storage for Proxmox - https://www.blockbridge.com/proxmox
If it were me, I would use it to confirm that the hardware is broadly compatible (for example SCSI controllers, graphics adapters, and similar devices). It could also help identify which kernel modules are being loaded and potentially highlight...
That user never came back to report on their progress or lack thereof. My recommendation to try a new OS install still stands.
Using recovery boot is another option that previous reported was not quiet comfortable with.
Proxmox team does not...
Hi @mosespray , the Ansible modules are not maintained by PVE staff. I'd recommend reaching out to Ansible team/maintainer - perhaps via github issue.
I believe these modules are using API to communicate to PVE. You could try to troubleshoot...
Take a look at this thread, there may be some useful information there for you:

While these threads are storage-slanted, the feedback it the threads is from companies running successful businesses, almost exclusively on Proxmox Virtualization Environment...
What version of PVE are you running on each side?

There might be an overzealous check in there. An easy immediate resolution is to detach the ISO. It would also be a good test result.
Out of curiousity - do you have "cephfs" on the remote side?

You should also reach out to Veeam or post in their forum. They have a special way of integrating with PVE and the PVE devs have no control and don't test this combination.
Cheers

It possibly sounds like you just want to create some LVM slices:

If you are more visual learner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdOyTNoVnY4
None of this is PVE specific. Note that you...
Hi @dick_fiddler69 ,
You should not need to redeploy anything when you purchase the subscription. The packages in no-sub repo run ahead of enterprise repo. At some point the enterprise repo will catch up and you will be in-sync with Enterprise...
There are very few reasons, if ever, for a home-laber running on mini-pc to upgrade from a known stable kernel.
Figuring out the reason would require Kernel bisect to find the differences, comparing modules across two kernels, possibly compiling...
Thats great to hear! Thank you for the update.
If you edit your original post there should be a drop down near the subject to mark it solved. It makes the forum presentation more uniform (vs typing in prefix).
Cheers

Hi @Nick Carter , welcome to the forum!
I doubt there are many mental health professionals who visit proxmox forum, so I would not take anyone's diagnosis from here :-)
Get 3 nodes in different locations and implement application level...
The NICs are Realtek. I know historically people have been having issues with Realtek based NICs and newer Kernels. Note that I have not followed this issue closely as I am not personally affected.
Given that OP upgraded the system, perhaps a...
