If the file comment says it was generated by CI but it contains prior VM/base/template information, then chances are that CI did not run properly. Keep in mind that some portions of CI are run only once per...

LVM BACKEND
Storage pool type: lvm
LVM is a light software layer on top of hard disks and partitions. It can be used to split available disk space into smaller logical volumes. LVM is widely used on...

I don't know about specific documentation, but the process is easy:
a) if the disk is not already a qcow, convert the disk. Save/copy/move the disk to location of your choosing.
b) review and save the VM config (qm config [vmid])
c) if it helps...
In that case, start looking at the CI logs. I've often found that custom CI configs are easier to work with when the needs are beyond basic.

The best way to troubleshoot cloudInit is to review the logs created in /var/log. The procedures differ across OS's, and Oracle can be expecting custom stuff.
You may also want to start with Oracles's prebuilt cloud image. I know this is about...
Try to boot into live ISO of Debian, Ubuntu, or some Rescue Linux. Does it function OK?
Mount the disk and examine the logs.
Run some memory and disk tests.

Which part of it do you want to avoid?
You don't have to convert to qcow, you can use raw. You'd loose some functionality, so is that something you want to save?
You have to get the disk to PVE, so you probably can't avoid it. Are disks on NFS...
Hi @warlocksyno ,
Thanks for your kind words!
To be honest, it's unlikely that tweaking iSCSI at the protocol level will suddenly unlock a new level of performance. In our experience, we rarely touch the low-level iSCSI settings... mostly only...

Hi @akjome ,
The most suitable place for your question would be Veeam Support, followed by the Veeam Forum, and finally here.
Until recently, Veeam was not compatible with PVE 9, which could cause the same type of error you’re reporting. Are...
Understood. LVM does have performance limits, but you're well below them. If it were me, I'd start by testing read-only workloads directly on the LV - no infrastructure fiddling required.

Thanks for sharing all this data.
From what I can tell, one of two things is likely true: either the storage system isn't delivering the expected performance (possibly due to its disk configuration), or the host hardware setup isn't able to...
