Hello, I had the same issue with VMs locking up during backups, I managed to solve it by scheduling Node based backups rather than 1 single backup for all 3 nodes This way it only backups up 1 VM at a time and doesn't cause massive I/O spikes... -

But to dig out, I should start disabling PBS temporarily and keep vzdump.
