I have a few windows vm's that have complex software, that I want to move from my Vmware esxi to promox.
Got most of it scripted, but issue I found was the windows went from activated to not.
Anyone have guidance on how to fix, as rebuying windows for something that I've already bought is a bit of a pain.
These are window pro machines.
Any help would be apprecated.

you can't keep software activation when you change hypervisor, it's likely upgrade motherboard.
Windows is the easiest to re activate, just call Microsoft.
but each software need their own process.
some keep activated if based of hard disk numbers, some are based on MAC address (so can be fooled within VM option) but many detect other changes.
