Hi there,

We had a crash on our system a few weeks ago and only noticed yesterday that, for some reason, data stopped being able to be written to most of the vm LVMs. The VMs that were running at the time would still function but would randomly freeze / lockup (not been able to pin point what causes this yet). On ALL VMs, if I was to restart the VM it would come up with a boot error - no bootable disk can be found or something similar.

Our setup is:
20x HP DL380 G7s
2x P3000 HP SAN 12 Disk arrays (450Gb, 11 configured, 1 hot swap per array) Configured HA
4x 1 Gb Fibre bonded connections to each Node

Array configured RAID50

We had a disk failure about two weeks after this proxmox issue but this is clearly a red herring.

Any ideas on this would be VERY GRATEFULLY RECEIVED

Kindest regards,

Rob
