I have installed proxmox on one server and currently one active virtual machine on it.
I want to expand hdd on guest machine. And i find how to i can to do.
When i try to achieve above with command
qemu-img resize /var/lib/vz/images/103/my-vm-disk.qcow2 +20G
Bath my qemu command has not option resize?
I now that is first stable version 1.0 And i want to resolve this some how.
my (very old) version has:
pve-manager: 1.0-6 (pve-manager/1.0/3427)
qemu-server: 1.0-2
pve-kernel: 2.6.24-4
pve-kvm: 75-1
pve-firmware: 1
vncterm: 0.9-1
vzctl: 3.0.22-3pve3
vzdump: 1.1-1
vzprocps: 2.0.11-1dso2
vzquota: 3.0.11-1dso1
And everything is installed on Debian Debian GNU/Linux 4.0 \n \l
My first problem je resize (expand) hdd on guest machine without shutdown(or only with restart).
And on second place is upgrade to newer version.
Have you any advice?
