Upgrade from 1.5 to 1.7 question

Hi All...

I hope everyone had a nice holiday!

I am currently running a Proxmox cluster of two machines, each one running 1.5VE with kernel 2.6.18-2-pve. I have been reading in the forum that newer kernels are out, but I thought I saw that one of these does not support the containers, just the KVM?

Is it possible to upgrade directly from 1.5 to 1.7 and if so, should I keep the existing kernel or upgrade?

Thanks...

If you use both (kvm, openvz) still use the 2.6.18-branch. If you use kvm-only you can also run the other kernels.
