Hi All,

I just updated one of my nodes from 7 to 8 (apt update/dist-upgrade without any extras) and `pve7to8` tells me
WARN: unexpected running and installed kernel '6.8.4-2-pve'.

pveversion says

pve-manager/8.2.2/9355359cd7afbae4 (running kernel: 6.8.4-2-pve)

The other node in the cluster, updated four weeks ago runs 6.5.13-1-pve.

Whats wrong?

Oliver

Thanks for the pointers but I found those links before, and also some more dkms related stuff, but my system does not have (or even find) any dkms related package so this is not related. Also my system works with this kernel, at least I have all my machines back up running and no issue so far, I am just wondering about the warning and where this kernel come from when its not expected to be supported...
