unable to log into webinterface

Hello all,

I recently got the management of a proxmox cluster forced on me.
Now there's a problem the web interface doesn't function like it should be anymore.
I can get to the login page, but when I try to log in, the site hangs on something and after a minute or 2 - 3 I get the message:

Code:
You could not be logged on. Make sure your user name and password are correct, and then try again

I can log in with the same username and password on the server using SSH, so I know that's not the problem.

Next I did some digging:
Code:
proxmox6:~# pveca -l
CID----IPADDRESS----ROLE-STATE--------UPTIME---LOAD----MEM---DISK
 1 : 172.16.202.50 M ERROR: 500 read timeout

 2 : 172.16.202.15 N S 81 days 01:30 0.02 50% 2%
 3 : 172.16.202.31 N S 82 days 14:42 0.00 13% 1%
 4 : 172.16.202.7 N S 82 days 14:42 0.08 25% 2%
 5 : 172.16.202.60 N S 82 days 14:42 0.09 56% 1%
 6 : 172.16.202.57 N S 82 days 14:41 0.20 57% 2%

From that I assume that the problem lies with the server with CID 1 (which is also the server the webinterface runs on).
Unfortunately this is a production environment and I cannot do what I want.

proxmox version is:
pve-manager/1.9/6542

I hope someone can help me with this problem.

Edit/additional info:

The previous administrator of the proxmox cluster moved 4 VMs to another server in the cluster (at my request) so we could remove the physical machine (a 9 year old server isn't something I trust to run possible production VMs on). About 2 hours later I booted up the VMs again. Later that day I first noticed that I couldn't log into the web interface anymore.

Regards,

JanR

There were 2. I removed them both (before making this thread), but that didn't solved the problem.

Edited the initial post with the last actions I did trough the webinterface

Sir,
I have remove the node from a cluster.
After successfully deleting the node I'm trying to access web interface of that node by typeing https://<nodeip>:8006
But it was unable to access.
When I restart the cman the following message appears.

Starting cluster:
Checking if cluster has been disabled at boot... [ OK ]
Checking Network Manager... [ OK ]
Global setup... [ OK ]
Loading kernel modules... [ OK ]
Mounting configfs... [ OK ]
Starting cman... [ OK ]
Waiting for quorum... Timed-out waiting for cluster
[FAILED]

When I check the cman status it shows fenced is stop.
service cman status
fenced is stopped

Please help me with starting and accessing the proxmox web interface.

Thanks.

That looks like a completely different problem as mine. It's best if you make a separate topic for it.

Meanwhile my problem is solved. Someone else solved it and I don't know how.
