Unable to boot after a update

Just installed some updates. Now my proxmox server is stuck at grub. When try to locate my linux partition with ls (partition. Name)./

They all say can't find file system. I also tried linux boot repair disk but it keeps being stuck on the scanning is part. My proxmox is configured as a zfs in mirror and an ssd's for cache

Is there anything else I can try?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Booting from install image into debug mode does work either. I will recieve the following; unable to continue

Well have a kernel been updated? Can you select an older one? Can you edit the entry and add init=/bin/bash at the end of the kernel line to boot into it? If this won't work, best thing you can do is to boot into any live linux, mount your partitions, chroot into and issue update-grub to rebuild mbr.

If you can not boot into live linux or the devices are not found with a decent distro (debian live, ubuntu, arch,... you name it) you might have a hardware issue if it worked bevore. You can then try to lsscsi and look if there is something or not.

Also am trying to start from my usb;
Found this online ;

Don't no to what I need to change it;
root=(hd1,msdos1)
linux /vmlinuz-4.4.35-2-pve root=ZFS=rpool/ROOT/pve-1 ro boot=zfs
initrd /initrd.img-4.4.35-2-pve
boot

To bad I don't have any grub knowledge. My usb is hd1 so root=(hd1)

How can proxmos fail to start from a dist upgrade. Never had problemens with other linux os i have used. Littery one dist upgrade and can't boot anymore. Most likely will have to reinstall proxmox and all the vm's gonna be a nightmare

any one has any tips or tricks left? If not is there a easy way to optain data from my zfs mirror?
