Screen shows: "Not Optimum Mode Recommended Mode 1920x1080 60Hz during installation

I have been having a hard time getting PMVE to install on my HP DL380P 16 bay Server for a few weeks now. It shows my monitors recommended screen res just after I click on "Install Proxmox VE" in the installation menu then it goes black and then shows the following:

Not Optimum mode
Recommended Mode 1920x1080 60Hz.

I only have VGA as an option.

Server is running:

48GB ram
5x 512GB SSD drives
1x 300GB SAS 10K Drive (Boot drive)
2x Xeon X5550 Quad Core CPU's

Not sure what the issue would be or if it's somethin to do with the most recent version of Proxmox VE.

any help would be awesome.

Hi

I had similar problem on HP DL360 G7 - Try using 7.02 installer and then updating.

https://archive.org/details/proxmox-ve_7.0-2

I got installer ok on first install with 7.4 then I couldn't get a display or it was corrupted, however 7.02 went as expected.

Thanks I will be installing this right away and then updating it to 7.4.
