PVE 1.4 beta2: migration KVM on storages crashed

Can I remove the pve-qemu-kvm and install the qemu-kvm that I find in linux-kvm.org?

There is any dependency with other packages?

Don't get me wrong, but both of them are beta versions. Do you really think we test what happens when soemone replaces one beta package with another, and mix different beta versions?

You can simply check those things yourself. Anyways, the resulting version mix will be unsupported.

It's strange but VM with Windows XP migrates without any problem, however VMs with linux 2.6 always hang after VPE manager says "migration finished successfuly".

The problem is the 0.11 version of KVM.
In fact I have installed the 1.4 beta1 (that have 0.10 KVM) and all is OK now.
Also I have tried in 2 fedora 11 with 0.11 KVM and the problem is the same.

OK, so please can you open a bug report for KVM:

I would to do this but I can't because the old Fedora 11 installation is gone to update to Proxmox.

And why can´t you report now? Reporting KVM issues is a major task for all users to give feedback to the KVM team. I makes no difference which distro you use.
