Hi everyone,

I am running Proxmox, and I installed an Ubuntu which contains VMWare running a Windows Server 2003 r2. The issue is, the Windows Server is frozen for 20-30 seconds every few minutes. Does anyone know which setup should I use in Proxmox to run smoothly the VM without the frozen effect?

The reason for using VMWare in an Ubuntu VM is that I don't get running Windows Server 2003 r2 in Proxmox by using Mergeide and converting the image to qcow2, the machine doesn't start, although I read the different posts in this forum about the use of Mergeide for the Windows Server 2003 r2

Thanks in advance!
