Problem with router setup

Hardware
Mainboard Intel DQ67SW SandyBridge Rev. B3
Core i5 2400, 8GB
1x onboard Intel Gbit LAN
2x Intel EXPI9301CTBLK PCI-e Gigabit LAN

Software
Proxmox 1.8
Astaro Security Gateway ASG8.102

- fresh Installed Proxmox VE 1.8
- eth0=management interface
- created bridge devices

eth0=vmbr0
eth1=vmbr1
eth2=vmbr2

- created a new VM 102 (KVM fully virt., Linux 2.6 Guest, 1CPU, 5GB HDD vmdk)
- added vmbr1 and vmbr2 to the VM (3 nics now) all nics=e1000
- installed the router/FW appliance (Astaro ASG 8.102) from iso file

installation completed with no errors, all nics recognized

i can access the ASG8 web interface and did a minimal setup for testing.

vmbr0/eth0 = LAN - internal LAN is connected to my netbook for testing
vmbr1/eth1 = WAN - external WAN (DHCP) is connected to my linksys router
vmbr2/eth2 = unused

- My netbook got a ip from the router/fW Appliance.
- when connecting the cable from the Linksys to the external WAN port (vmbr1/eth1) the
Router/FW Appliance got a ip adress too.

So far so good, but i have no internet access from my test-netbook and i cant ping the
linksys router or any other server (google) with the ASG8 bultin ping tool

all nics working fine when assigned to the internal LAN
assigned other nic to wan port - not working / same problem

same problem occurred when using pfsense as VM

When installing ASG8 to the same machine directly - all is running fine.

I did a similar proxmox + router setup with ASG8 and proxmox 1.7 a few months ago on a Socket775 machine without any problems. This was my 1st proxmox installation.
Iam 99% sure it was the same "simple" setup procedure. Just adding the virtual nics to the VM, installing from iso and it was running perfect.

Hope someone have a idea what is wrong and how the problem can be solved.
