Hi
Why is proxmox detecting the daily report as spam? The correct subject is MYEMAIL - Bayesian Filter detected spam - Proxmox Status Report - 14.07.2005 12:00 (proxmox.MYDOMAIN)

Is it right that I use the external domain name for proxmox or must I use the internal domain name?

Thanks for response
Andreas

hello andreas,

the proxmox status report is sent to the specified admin email address (web interface: system configuration/reports).

case1: it´s an internal e-mail address- the proxmox do not analyse this email for spam.
case2: it´s an external e-mail address - the proxmox do not analyse outgoing mails for spam.

so i do not understand this problem. what is your detailed configuration?

Thanks for reply.
I found the problem. It was our old spamfilter which is running on msexchange. It stopped working for us because it didn't correctly calculated the e-mail users in our system for license. So the system thought we have to much users and stopped working.
That was the case why i looked for another solution and happily found proxmox.
But after the restart of my mailserver (exchange needed an restart after i configured the smarthost) the old spamfilter was working again. (I did severall restarts before and it never run again)
The old Spam-Filter found proxmox not in my ActiveDirectory and forged it to my spamfolder. I excluded proxmox and now it is function perfectly for me.
