Hi!
We are running PVE 4.2 with two nodes in a cluster:
ProLiant DL320 G5p with HDDs, RAM 8 GB and ZFS
Dell PowerEdge R530 with SSDs, RAM 16 GB and ZFS
Old ProLiant works like a charm. It hosts some 7 light LXC containers and RAM usage is 50% from total. There are no issues with this old machine.
Dell is having a problem. Its hosts some 3 LXCs and couple KVMs. The issue is that Dell node gradually (usually during 3 or 4 days) fills RAM till 70% and stays there. Then after some time – from couple of days till a month – machine suddenly reboots. I cannot figure out if this is software or hardware issue. But it seems to be associated with RAM consumption.
In /var/logs/syslog I do not see any errors leading up to reboot. Then there is a flood of messages in connection with system startup, I guess. Please let me know what information I should provide so we could sort this issue out. Thanks!
