Upon running a basic `apt upgrade` on my cluster, proxmox-kernel-6.5.11-4 installed and when it booted all I get is:

Code:
Loading Linux 6.5.11-4
Loading initial ramdisk...
[ICODE]

After that, nothing, except that the fact the system is continuing to boot, without display.

Providing what I can initially, here's my system specs provided by inxi -F:

This happens on all my systems which are running with similar hardware configurations.

Further investigation into this, where once-needed before nomodeset, now removing it fixes this new problem.

Hopefully, you meant dist-upgrade?

Not in this case, no. But, then again, the system was fairly up-to-date, and it's unlikely dist-upgrade would make much if any difference in this situation, specifically. But, I do understand the difference between upgrade and dist-upgrade.

This seems similar?

Similar-ish, but that's on Nvidia, this is on AMD on a AMD iGPU.

Can confirm. Removing nomodeset fixed the issue for us.

Running it on an AMD EPYC 7713P / HPE DL325
