hi, i have proxmox installed on a zfs pool with all the VMs. Would it be possible to migrate just proxmox without VM to another disk?
Thank you for your time

In theory you could clone the partition table to the new disk, sync the bootloader to the new disk, create a new ZFS pool on the new disk, crate an empty rpool/data dataset and then only move the rpool/ROOT/pve-1 dataset to the new pool.

But would be way easier and less error-prone just to clone the whole disk and then delete the guests afterwards. Or to do a fresh PVE installation and then restoring a backup of the config.db.
