Proxmox Backup Server Metrics

Hi,

Is there any functionality for pulling metrics from the system like you can with Proxmox VE? Would be ideal if we could have it feeding information to an InfluxDB database and then to a dashboard in Grafana or related services.

HI,

just to give our point of view on this, it would be cool to have a native prometheus for PVE and PBS and most important a metric that tell the state of each backup. If the backup is complete or failed, verify state, encryption state etc...

Would be really nice to see this on the roadmap

Even better would be to add Prometheus support as well, something I miss in PVE too.

Just picking this up again. Metrics such as backup execution times, task and datastore summary such as disk usage, if backups had issues/status (like Ceph shows 'healthy' or 'unhealthy') etc.

Historical data would be good to see the rate at which the disks are being used, how fast backups are running in case there's a sudden slow down, as a few ideas in the mind.

should already be merged and available since proxmox-backup-server 2.2.4-1 (configuration -> metric server), for now only influxdb support, but this can be extended
