If I run du -hs on /var/lib/vz I get the following 2.3TB
If I run du -hs on /var/lib/vz/private I get 703G
If I run du -hs on /var/lib/vz/dump I get 838G
/var/lib/vz/root also reports 703G which makes sense since it is a hardlink...
What is confusing me is why the total is 2.3TB which would be a combination of private and root counted separately... this is also reflected when I check the disk usage using df.
My understanding is that du and df usually do not count hard links. Is there an issue with hardlinks?
I am using 3.4 with ZFS.
Is this broken with ZFS? Is there a better tool to check disk usage from the command line?
Any ideas?
Thanks
