problems with sata virtual disk, when I create a VM with SATA disk type and install ubuntu 10:04 server, displays error grub rescue /boot/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod not found, installed several times and the same error the size of the VM disk is 400GB, to test installed on the same VM winXP, shows boot error, press ctrl + alt + del, my dell server R710 not be experiencing disk problems, the capacity is 1.47TB, and be 80% free, then try to delete the disk from the VM and crei another disc just that the IDE type, installed ubutnu starting the same iso and it worked normal now like to ask if there is a known bug as the issue of disk sata type and what is the best format ide, virtio or sata?
